Dr. Katie Prosser was born and raised in Indiana, where she completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of Evansville. She earned her medical degree from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina, and completed her residency at ETSU in Johnson City. Following her training, she chose to remain in East Tennessee, where she continues to serve the community through comprehensive primary care.

Dr. Prosser has special interests in preventative care, osteopathic manipulative treatment (OMT), and chronic disease management. She is committed to helping patients achieve long-term health through personalized care plans and evidence-based medicine.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Prosser enjoys running, hiking, and attending sporting events with her family.

Dr. Zachary Sumpter was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky, where a strong sense of community shaped his commitment to serving others. Before medicine, he worked as a software engineer — an experience that sharpened his analytical skills. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of Pikeville and completed his residency at ETSU Family Medicine in Bristol.

Dr. Sumpter takes a whole-person approach to primary care with a focus on building long-term, trust-based relationships. He has particular interest in managing chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia, combining evidence-based medicine with care plans tailored to each patient's individual goals.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Sumpter enjoys spending time with his family, staying active outdoors, and serving his local church community.
